The measures on eliminating consequences of bad weather are continued to be applied in Kyiv. Movement of part of the public transport routes is resumed, congestion is being eliminated, the main roads of the city are cleared, the Kyiv traffic police press service informs.
The Traffic Police calls drivers, who left their vehicles on the road during bad weather, to come back and remove the vehicles by themselves or with tow trucks, not to complicate traffic and process of snow removal.
Traffic police also advise car owners not to drive unless there is urgent necessity.
"When there is such necessity, the drivers must strictly observe the rules of stop and parking and leave vehicles in places where they will not interfere with work of snow plows," the report says.
