The State Emergency Service of Ukraine is instructed to evacuate transport, which hinders to remove the snow, deputy Prime Minister Oleksandr Vilkul said at a meeting on emergency measures to overcome the consequences of snow disaster in the regions of Ukraine, ForUm correspondent reports.
In general, according to the official, more than 22.3 thousand people and 5.3 thousand units of equipment were involved to clear roads and areas of snow and to hold operational and maintenance work in Ukraine. Except for rescuers and public utilities staff, representatives from the Interior Ministry and Defense Ministry were involved, as well as Mi-8 helicopter.
He added that the urban transport traffic is being resumed in Kyiv with the help of the Cabinet of Ministers.
