A cyclone, which brought the abnormal snowfall throughout the country, has left the territory of Ukraine, Deputy Prime Minister Oleksandr Vilkul has said this at a meeting, dedicated to emergency relief operations, in Kyiv on Monday, Ukrinform reports.

"Today we can say that the cyclone has left the territory of Ukraine, and we do not expect more significant precipitation," the official said.

A reminder that from March 22 to March 24, most regions of Ukraine were hit by heavy snowfall, causing traffic jams. Many localities were cut off power, and the entrances to settlements were covered with snow. Today, 161 settlements still remain blacked out, and 105 are difficult to reach.
