Ukrainian government has allocated 191 million UAH for the purchase of domestic medical equipment within the import substitution, which was defined in the program on economic activation, health minister Rayisa Bohatyriova said during a board of the Health Ministry of Ukraine on the eve of the World Tuberculosis Day, ForUm correspondent reports.
"Last year, the government allocated subvention - 191 million UAH for the regional health facilities to purchase equipment of domestic production, including mammographies, electrocardiographs, ultrasound and X-ray machines," the minister said.
In her view, the list of equipments will improve the quality of diagnosis.
According to Bohatyriova, the health facilities will be able to purchase appropriate equipments this year.
