In follow-up of 2012, the All-Ukrainian Association of Credit Unions issued loans to agricultural producers worth more than 1.5 billion UAH, president of the Ukrainian Association of Credit Unions Viktoria Volkovska told a round table, ForUm correspondent reports.
"The size of the average loan is 9-9.5 thousand UAH. Agricultural loans make up about 7 thousand UAH, farmer loans - about 40 thousand UAH, sometimes we issue one million hryvnia loans, but only for agricultural machinery," she said.
According to Volkovska, in 2012, lending to agricultural producers increased. "294 loans worth 12.5 million UAH were issued for farming. 5.5 thousand loans totaling 40.2 million UAH were issued for conducting private agriculture," Volkovska summed up.
