The draft program of medicine reform in Ukraine will soon be submitted to the Parliament, healthcare minister Rayisa Bohatyriova said, speaking in Parliament during the Hour of questions to the government, ForUm correspondent reports.
"The program of healthcare reform, initiated by the Head of the State, is fully harmonized with the Health-2020 European policy. The national project "Health 2020: Ukrainian choice" is worked out at its basis. It is almost ready for consideration and adoption by MPs," the minister said.
Besides, Bohatyriova stressed that the first phase of change is, of course, always painful and requires much funding.
The minister expressed the hope that Ukraine will receive medicine of a higher quality as a result of the reform.
