There are no wage arrears to state employees in Ukraine, social policy minister Natalia Korolevska said, speaking in the Parliament during the Hour of questions to the government, ForUm correspondent reports.
The minister said that according to the operational data, as of March 22, there are no wage arrears to state employees in Ukraine.
At the same time, according to her, there is a problem of debt accumulation of wage arrears at bankrupt and private enterprises, the figures amount to 413 million and 300 million UAH respectively.
The minister stressed that the debts of bankrupt enterprises "have formed in our state for decades." She said the Social Policy Ministry offers to use the experience of European countries and create a state guarantee agency to pay wages to employees of bankrupt companies.
