In 2013, Ukraine is going to decide its fate, German Ambassador to Ukraine Christoph Weil said during the first Ukrainian financial dialogue, ForUm correspondent reports.
According to the ambassador, Germany hopes that an Association Agreement with the EU will be signed during the Eastern Partnership summit in Vilnius in November. "Germany and Europe are interested in it. This will be the largest foreign investment in Ukraine," he said.
Weil stressed that everyone knows what the EU expects from Ukraine signing this agreement. "At the same time, I hope that your country will implement all necessary reforms, including the reform on state finances," he noted.
The ambassador added that Germany has close relations in politics, economy, culture and science with Ukraine.
