The Cabinet of Ministers has introduced start of the railway tickets sale with pointing out a passenger's surname and name starting from April 6.
This is stated in the Uryadovy Kurier government newspaper, which published the relevant government decree № 160 of March 6.
"The travel documents issued before the entry into force of this regulation without pointing out the first and the last name of a passenger are valid and boarding a train and travel shall be legal without a document certifying a person," the resolution reads.
This decree shall enter into force 15 days upon its publication.
