Kindergartens in Ukraine need urgent 'reanimation', first vice PM Serhiy Arbuzov told a press conference, ForUm correspondent reports.
"This issue concerns not only the citizens and media. President Viktor Yanukovych takes up the matter with the government as well. The issue is in bad shape and the government pays more attention to it now," Arbuzov said.
In his opinion, kindergartens need urgent 'reanimation'. "We will seek to allocate more funds from the state budget and control the execution of works by local governors. It concerns not only kindergartens, but playgrounds as well," Arbuzov added.
As reported, PM Azarov declared that 449 new kindergartens were opened in Ukraine in 2012.
