State program on enhancing economy will pay attention to social sphere

The state program on enhancing economic development for 2013-2014 along with profitable sectors of the economy will pay special attention to the social sphere, director of the department for strategic planning of economic development of the Economic Development and Trade Ministry Yevgeniy Oleynikov said during the roundtable, ForUm correspondent reports.

According to him, the state program defines industries, which can bring immediate effect (industrial complex) and industries that offer a large number of jobs, but are not competitive (metallurgy), and which will be modernized.

He also said that this program pays also attention to social facilities, utilities and infrastructure.

Meanwhile, director of the department for development of social and humanitarian spheres of the Economic Development and Trade Ministry Oleksandr Savenko added that the process of import substitution of drugs will be developed as well.
