Foreign ministers of Ukraine Leonid Kozhara and the Republic of Latvia Edgar Rinkevics discussed the bilateral cooperation on European integration, the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine reported.
In particular, the foreign ministers discussed the primary agenda of bilateral relations in political sphere, as well as practical issues of cooperation between two countries in economic and humanitarian spheres.
Special attention was paid to the cooperation between two countries on issues of European integration. Kozhara thanked Rinkevics for Latvia’s support for European integration goals of Ukraine.
The foreign ministers also discussed cooperation in international organizations, in particular, in the context of Ukraine's chairmanship in the OSCE.
Kozhara invited the foreign minister of the Republic of Latvia to pay an official visit to Ukraine.
