Work of the Ukrainian-Latvian business forum will promote business contacts between businessmen of the two countries, the development of trade and economic relations and increase in trade turnover, Ukraine's President Viktor Yanukovych said at the business forum, the President’s press service informs.
"The clearer our economic relationship will be, the more integration processes between business environment in Ukraine and Latvia will occur, the better we will be the result," Yanukovych said.
The President noted that the work of forum on a regular basis will be a driving force to lead to economic growth in Ukraine and Latvia. He assured the businessmen that the Ukrainian government will facilitate the creation of a competitive environment and favorable conditions for their work.
In turn, the President of the Republic of Latvia expressed the hope that the contacts between the government and business will give a positive result. "We are to look for ways of cooperation with Ukraine at this forum," Mr. Andris Berzins said.
