Implementation of reforms in all spheres of our country is aimed at creating a favourable business climate in Ukraine, President Viktor Yanukovych said in his speech at the Ukrainian-Latvian business forum in Kyiv on Thursday, ForUm learned from the press service of the head of state.

"We are enacting all the reforms in order to create normal, civilized rules of the game for doing business. That is why it is important for us that investment and available resource go for the economic development of Ukraine,” he said.

The head of state noted that the government will use all available mechanisms to achieve this goal. “Business will be successful when: first - the state creates conditions, second - business activity is transparent. Therefore, we vigorously continue the implementation of integrated strategies for internal change," the President added.

According to Yanukovych, in the face of the deteriorating crisis processes in the world, Ukraine has managed to do a lot, and now the government works both to expand the domestic market and to intensify foreign trade. This work, the President added, involves different countries' chambers of commerce.

The President called on the representatives of the Ukrainian and Latvian businesses to continue to participate actively in the transformation of Ukraine. "I am convinced that we should enact reforms together with you," he said.
