Ukraine opened its embassy in Doha (Qatar), the press service of the Foreign Ministry reports.
According to the report, ambassador Yevhen Mykytenko held a meeting with deputy foreign minister of Qatar.
The parties considered a plan on exchange of official visits of delegations during this year.
They also discussed the steps for the expansion of the contractual basis, joint measures dedicated to the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the countries on April 13. During the meeting the parties discussed current political situation in the Middle East.
