Ukraine heats up the issue on bad roads, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said during a meeting with journalists of Ukrainian TV channels, ForUm correspondent reports.
"I have been a motorist for more than forty years. And I can honestly say that Ukraine has never had good roads," the Prime Minister said.
According to Azarov, good roads began to appear during last three years in Ukraine, and they have already gone through three and a half month period of snow and sharp changes in temperature.
The Prime Minister assured that the government will cope with this problem, and Ukraine will have good roads.
"This year, the government allocates more resources that can be spent on patching, major repairs and road construction," Azarov stressed.
