Moldova puts high hopes on Ukraine chairing in the OSCE in the settlement of the Transnistrian conflict, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Moldova to Ukraine Mr. Ion Stevile told online conference held at ForUm.
"Of course, we put high hopes on the successful implementation of the Ukrainian chairmanship in the OSCE regarding promotion of the Transnistrian settlement process. Ukraine has a big motivation to resolve the Transnistrian crisis than any other countries that used to chair the OSCE," he said.
According to Stevile, if the parties fail to make a real breakthrough in the settlement of the Transnistrian issue this year, the progress in this direction will be anyway.
