Three years turn from the date of appointment of Mykola Azarov as Prime Minister of Ukraine on March 11.
In March 2010, the Party of Regions nominated Azarov as candidate for head of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. 242 of 450 deputies of the Verkhovna Rada voted for his candidacy.
With a short break in December 2012, when Prime Minister Azarov was acting Prime Minister due to resignation of the government, he has led the Cabinet under President Viktor Yanukovych for three consecutive years.
