Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych congratulated judges and employees of the Supreme Court of Ukraine on the 90th anniversary of the establishment of the Supreme Court of Ukraine, the press service of the head of state reports.
"The development of Ukraine as a constitutional state is impossible without effective activity of the judicial branch of government. The priority role in the responsible and difficult mission of justice belongs to the Supreme Court of Ukraine. The history of its activity is an approval process of justice, one of the highest values of the Ukrainian people," Yanukovych noted.
The President thanked the judges for their devoted service to the interests of the Ukrainian state, for their relentless desire to improve the domestic justice and for fidelity to their life vocation and requirements of the law.
"I am confident that you will continue to make every effort to ensure the consistent protection of citizens' rights, strengthen the image of our state as a guarantor of the law and order and trust in justice. I wish you to remain loyal to high ideals of your profession," Yanukovych stressed.
