The Incomes and Fees Ministry of Ukraine together with the experts of the best consulting companies develop the bill on compulsory general declaration of incomes of citizens.

"We develop the bill with the best experts in the world, I mean those of England, the Czech Republic, Poland, Canada and Australia," minister Oleksandr Klimenko said on the air of the First National TV Channel on Sunday.

According to him, passing of the bill will give an impetus to raising the tax culture of citizens.

"Since declaration of income will be compulsory, we try to ensure that nobody feels inconvenience while filing it in. A taxpayer will be able to do it remotely and all the existing information on income could be seen from our database," the minister said.

Speaking of the need to declare income for different categories of citizens, Klimenko said that the bill will provide that only citizens, who have multiple sources of income, shall be subject to the general declaration.

Klimenko said that it will be possible to implement the declaration by electronic tax cabinet, "where a taxpayer will be able to get the necessary information, which is already collected in the Incomes and Fees Ministry database".

According to the minister, the taxpayer will be able to sign such a declaration with the individual electronic signature.

"We will have all the necessary facilities and IT-solutions for a taxpayer to communicate with the tax service remotely. So, we will minimize time expenditure and corruption risks," he concluded.
