Facts of granting low-quality education have been registered both in public and private universities, chairman of the State Inspection of Educational Institutions of Ukraine Mykhailo Honcharenko told a press conference, ForUm correspondent reports.

"I do not agree with criticism about low-quality private higher education. There are examples of low-quality provision of education in public universities," he said.

In particular, he pointed out a number of violations. In November last year, the audit showed violations in the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and the State University of Information and Communication Technologies.

Violations are fixed in schools as well. The official cited the example of one of the Crimean schools.

There, 85 foreigners were enrolled without the consent of the local education authority.
