The meeting of Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych and Russian President Vladimir Putin, which was held the day before, can be useful for both parties, head of the Party of Regions faction Oleksandr Yefremov stated.
"There is nothing extraordinary in the fact that the documents were not signed. Initially, there was an agreement to meet and discuss problems that exist, but any decisions were not intended to be taken at this meeting. Therefore, the negotiations were held, and the parties exchanged their opinions," he said.
According to him, in any case, the meetings of the heads of two neighboring states are always beneficial for both parties.
