"During December 2012 - February 2013 we conducted audits in 27 kindergartens in Kyiv and Kyiv region. Serious violations were identified during the inspections. Four kindergartens operated in private homes without permits of epidemiological and fire services," Honcharenko said.
According to him, the audit results showed that there was a problem of using old education programs in these pre-schools.
Honcharenko stressed that at the end of February, documents on these 18 educational institutions were sent to the Kyiv city and Kyiv regional department on education and science in order to eliminate the revealed problems.
He noted that during the current school year the inspectorate has checked 190 educational institutions, including more than 50 secondary, 40 pre-school, 6 out of school and 30 vocational and technical institutions.
