Ukraine has had stable prices for vegetables and fruits for the third consecutive year, agrarian policy and food minister Mykola Prysiazhniuk told journalists during the press tour to the largest vegetable store in Europe, ForUm correspondent reports.

"The stabilization of prices has been observed for the third year in a row after 2010, when there was a high level of price growth. We and consumers are happy. The main thing is that we managed to cut the chain of intermediaries. Today the manufacturers and consumers are pleased with the price group. We managed to minimize seasonal fluctuations in prices for fruits and vegetables," Prysiazhniuk said.

The minister reminded that the difference in prices for vegetables during the summer-autumn and winter-spring periods was great a couple of years ago.
