The proposed by the National Bank of Ukraine limit on cash payments of individuals of 150 thousand UAH is comfortable for most people, deputy governor of the National Bank of Ukraine Vira Rychakovska told a press conference, ForUm correspondent reports.
According to her, this volume will limit payments to businesses for goods, works and services carried out in a single day with one or more payment instruments.
"Payments in excess of this level will be possible only in the cashless transfer from account to account or depositing in the bank for further transfer to the account. In addition, the restriction applies to the notarized sales contracts between individuals," Rychakovska said.
She added that the National Bank posts a draft resolution for public discussion today. "The text of the draft document is published on the website of the National Bank, and everyone will be able to make suggestions until April 8. Only then this decision will be finalized," deputy governor summed up.
