The registration for participation in the external independent testing in 2013 ends on March 5, director of the Ukrainian Center for Education Quality Assessment Iryna Zaitseva told a press conference, ForUm correspondent reports.
"Tomorrow at 12:00 p.m., we finish the registration process. It will be impossible to register after March 5," she said.
Zaitseva noted that those, who have not registered for participation in the external independent testing in time, will have to apply the next year.
According to her, those, who signed up, will be able to make some changes to their data. "Up to March 19 the registered entrants will have the opportunity to make some changes, such as adjustments to the list of subjects," the expert said.
According to Zaitseva, the projected number of entrants in 2013 will be 311.5 thousand. As of today, 260 thousand people received certificates for passing external independent testing.
She added that Donetsk region became the leader in the registration of applicants, with 19.569 people (7.5% of the total). Dnipropetrovsk region ranks the second (19.126 people.), Lviv region - the third (15.888 people).
In addition, it was informed that about 18% of the registered applicants are the graduates of previous years.
