The Kyiv City State Administration invented a method to prevent stealing of flowers from city flowerbeds, out how to deal with citizens, first deputy chairman of the Kyiv City State Administration Oleksandr Mazurchak told reporters, ForUm correspondent reports.
"Planting of more than 10 thousand roses in the capital was sponsored last year. We saw the positive feedback from people. However, roses were stolen in some places. However, we found a way to protect the roses from thieves. Now the flowers will be planted only on the grid, which makes impossible their pulling out," Mazurchak said.
According to the official, this year 500 thousand roses will be planted on existing and new flowerbeds. Many of them are specifically designed for areas of budget organizations, schools and hospitals.
