People should promote actively their interests

Data warehousing of state institutions will create not only a new quality of document flow between them, but also will structure, optimizing the whole system, adviser to the head of the Education and Science, Youth and Sport Ministry Mykhailo Shmelev said during a round-table, ForUm correspondent reports.

"For example, it is difficult for colleagues from the state institutions, not only for citizens, to know the exact number of schools in Ukraine. Accreditation of higher education institutions is another example. It is very difficult for applicants to find out all the details of accreditation, as well as the full range of specialties. In both cases the problem is a lack of the centralized database."

Shmelev continued that experience showed that any administrative process comes to order only with its automation and informatization.

He added that the government should not wait for somebody to offer some initiative, but to develop and promote its own propositions.
