The Cabinet of Ministers adopted the decision to establish the Ukrainian Development Bank, head of the State Agency for Investment and National Projects Vladyslav Kaskiv informed.
The decision was taken on February 27 at the extended government meeting.
According to Kaskiv, the established bank with transparent banking procedures will administer the expenditure, previously inefficiently allocated between the different Ministries and agencies. Establishment of such an institution is a key element of the investment reform, represented on April 6, 2011 with the participation of the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych, and can drastically improve the investment attractiveness of the country.
"Yesterday, the international investors heard very important information from the President of Ukraine: the national projects will be implemented in co-funding from the state and private investors," Kaskiv said.
