Ukraine and Poland should examine and promote the common historical achievements, foreign minister of Ukraine Leonid Kozhara said at the opening of the Fifth Polish-Ukrainian Partnership Forum, the Foreign Ministry press service informs.
"Ukraine and Poland should examine and promote the common historic achievements and that will become an important key to the common future of the two countries and peoples in the European Union," Kozhara said, speaking at the Forum.
Ukrainian minister praised the results of the EU-Ukraine summit, in particular, in the context of prospects for signing of the Association Agreement, including a free trade area with the European Union, this year.
During the Partnership Forum, the leading political, social and scientific figures of the two states will discuss a wide range of bilateral issues.
