Yanukovych: If you can’t set up state kindergartens, assist in setting up private ones

100 thousand additional seats should be created in Ukrainian kindergartens, President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych said during the extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, ForUm correspondent reports.

According to him, today, one in four children cannot attend pre-school establishment.

In this regard, the President instructed the Cabinet to ensure creation of not less than 100 thousand seats in kindergartens in two years.

"If you are not able to do it using state and municipal resources, then assist the development of private kindergartens network," he said, adding that such services must be accessible to the large sections of the public with children.
