Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov refused to allow opposition MPs to address an extended government meeting on Wednesday.

Azarov suggested hearing the final word of the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych after the speech of chairman of the Donetsk Regional State Administration and Verkhovna Rada’s speaker and finish the session of the government, as the regulation is exhausted.

After Azarov asked the participants, whether they agree with this proposal, the leader of the Batkivshchyna faction Arseniy Yatseniuk began to demand to allow representatives of opposition address the meeting

Azarov responded him: “Mr, Yatseniuk, you are the former member of the government. You are at the government meeting, no at the parliament’s session! You should abide by the Cabinet's rules of procedure. I am warning you once again, I will not allow anyone to disrupt the government's meeting. Please, post your speeches on the government's Web site and the relevant Ministries will examine all the proposals,” Azarov said.

Afterwards, the opposition representatives started shouting: “Shame of it!” and left the meeting room.
