Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has instructed the government to ensure the unconditional implementation of the agreements with the European Union.
The President stressed that the vector of European integration is a priority for Ukraine, and the EU-Ukraine Summit “became an important step to move towards a new level of relations with the EU - political association and economic integration," he said.
"I demand to ensure the unconditional implementation of the agreements reached with the leadership of the EU,” President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych said during the extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, ForUm correspondent reports. Yanukovych added that every effort should be made to sign the Association Agreement in November in Vilnius.
At the same time, the President stressed the need to find mutually acceptable model of cooperation with the Customs Union, as Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan are not only partners of Ukraine, but the countries, with which we have "hundreds of years of common history".
