Ukraine is developing conditions to lease out its gas transportation system to possible partners, deputy Prime Minister Yuri Boiko declared within the Adam Smith Ukrainian Energy Forum.
"We now see that the most acceptable model from the standpoint of loading the gas transport system is when the system itself remains as a state property. And we invite partners to take part on conditions that envision the separation of the types of activities of Naftogaz," he said.
According to him, the Ukrainian government is holding negotiations with Western and Eastern partners on the division of business.
Boiko said that this model is the final stage of development.
