Starting from the 2013 academic year the school educational programs will include a swimming lesson, education and science, youth and sports minister Dmytro Tabachnyk said during the press conference, ForUm correspondent reports.
"During this spring we are planning to use all the material and human resources to learn preschoolers and elementary school pupils to swim," he said.
According to him, as of today, the program "Swimming lesson" is developed by experts of the Institute of innovative technologies.
The minister also explained how the children will be taught at schools where there is no pool. "We will wait till May and organize these lessons (in open water basins - Ed.)," he said.
