Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has decided to separate the Youth and Sport Ministry from the Education Ministry, he told a press conference within the Dialogue with the country project, ForUm correspondent reports.
"We made a mistake when united the Family, Youth and Sports Ministry with the Education and Science Ministry. That was a mistake, and I admit it. We will try to revive the Sports Ministry," Yanukovych stated.
According to the President, the approach to the reorganization of these two structures reminded destroying of all structures involved in sports.
In December of 2010, Yanukovych signed a decree to create the Education and Science, Youth and Sports Ministry of Ukraine by joining the Education and Science Ministry and the Family, Youth and Sports Ministry.
