President: Differences between Ukraine, EU are quite natural

Ukraine will continue to move toward integration into the European Union, President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych said during a meeting with journalists following completion of negotiations with Polish President Bronisław Komorowski and Slovak President Ivan Gašparovič in the city of Vistula, the Presidential press service informs.

“Despite the difficulties on the way towards the European integration, Ukraine was, is and remains a supporter of this movement and we will go along this way,” Yanukovych noted.

He confirmed Ukraine's readiness to continue implementation of reforms in all spheres of its life activities and a plan of measures, proposed by the European Commission by November 2013, UKRINFORM reports.

At the same time, the President named the differences between Ukraine and the European Union as “quite natural, as our state passes a difficult way, as every country, which goes toward the European integration.”
