Today, at 11:00, President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych will give a press conference within the framework of the Dialogue with the country project. Live show will be broadcasted by leading TV channels of the country.
Yanukovych is expected to answer citizens' questions, put during live stand-ups from different cities of Ukraine, as well as by phone.
The event coincides with the third anniversary of the inauguration of Yanukovych. Press conference for journalists will be given on March 1 in the Ukrainian House.
Yanukovych has not arranged press conferences for already more than a year.
Communication between the President of Ukrainian and the citizens has been kept to a minimum. The last press conference was held on December 21, 2011.
The next press conference of the President was to be held on July 4, 2012 at the Ukrainian House. However, the event was canceled because of the rally against the law on language policy.
The final press conference at the end of December 2012 was also cancelled. Instead of talking to journalists, Yanukovych took a vacation in the Carpathian Mountains. In addition, on September 25, the previously announced press conference Yanukovych in New York was postponed.
