This year the volume of Russian gas supplies to Ukraine will depend on negotiations on this issue with Russia and Europe, energy and coal industry minister of Ukraine Eduard Stavytsky told a briefing at the Cabinet of Ministers, ForUm correspondent reports.
“Negotiations are underway on the price reduction, the volume which we will purchase depends on this,” Stavytsky said.
According to him, at the same time, the talks are being conducted on the diversification of gas supplies to Ukraine from Europe.
“In the nearest future, we will decide both with the European companies and with Russia on gas supplies,” the minister said.
