A total of 21 Ukrainians and three Syrians were evacuated from Syria on Tuesday evening, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reported.
Ukrainians returned to their homeland as a part of another stage of evacuation from Syria, the Foreign Ministry said. Employees of the Ministry and the State Service for Emergency Situations met the evacuees at the airport, Interfax reported.
As reported, the Foreign Ministry said that Ukraine was planning to hold another stage of the evacuation of its citizens from Syria and bring more than 30 Ukrainians home.
