Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov fears that the bills, worked out by the Cabinet, will "stuck" in the Parliament due to the its blocking by the opposition.

"We will approve these resolutions today (concerning social security - Ed.), send them to the Parliament, and what? Millions of our people, whom these solutions are addressed, will wait till the opposition starts to work constructively?" Azarov asked rhetorically, opening the Cabinet’s meeting, ForUm correspondent reports.

He noted that no European parliamentary opposition acts the same way.

"Let people wait for road repairs, which need allocating additional funds. Let the patients in hospitals, who need treatment, wait. Let engineers and scientists wait, although they need state aid to increase production. Meanwhile other states use every day and every opportunity to protect their people from the crisis," the Prime Minister said.

"Blocking of the Parliament is blocking of the development of Ukraine. The responsibility for this lies with the opposition," Azarov summed up.
