There is some progress in the negotiations on the unblocking of work of the Verkhovna Rada, but the opposition does not rule out that it will be knocked out by force, leader of the UDAR Party faction Vitali Klitschko told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.

"The representatives of all factions found a certain compromise, which can satisfy all the parliamentarians," he said.

According to him, a working group, which includes representatives of all political forces, has been set up. According to the results of its work, another meeting of heads of factions will be held tomorrow, on February 19, at 9:30 a.m.

"We hope that, in the end, we will find a way out of the political crisis," the head of the opposition faction said and recalled that the main requirement of the opposition is to ensure the personal voting.

Meanwhile, Klitschko said that the majority representatives warned the opposition against possible unblocking of the parliament by force.

"We were told that the majority will summon in the session hall. It will be attended by deputies from the Party of Regions and the Communist Party of Ukraine. If other deputies (members of the opposition - Ed.) refuse to leave the hall, they can be physically pushed outside the session hall," Klitschko said.

When asked by journalists who said this, Klitschko named leader of the Party of Regions faction Oleksandr Yefremov. In addition, according to Klitschko, speaker Rybak said that "recently the opposition has held a similar meeting. Accordingly, the majority has the right to such an action".

Klitschko also said that the opposition will continue blocking the work of the Parliament round the clock, increasing the number of opposition members in the session hall.
