The AeroSvit Airlines promises to repay all wage arrears to its employees, infrastructure minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Kozak told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
"Bankruptcy is determined by the court, not the Ministry. The Infrastructure Ministry does not support the bankruptcy process of the company. I believe the company needs to find a way out. And most importantly, it should pay off wage arrears. It is the duty and the image of the company," he said.
Kozak said that preliminary talks on payment of debts are underway. The trade unions of pilots and aviators are also participating in the discussion.
"We are in dialogue. According to our preliminary data, the AeroSvit promises to pay all debts and wage arrears," the minister concluded.
