Electoral system can be changed not only in the Parliament, but at the referendum as well, leader of the Party of Regions faction Oleksandr Yefremov told a press briefing after the next round of talks, ForUm correspondent reports.

"There are two ways to resolve this issue (amendments to the law on parliamentary elections - Ed.). The first is to solve it in the Parliament. I think no one doubts that the acting parliament will pass one or two laws in any case, despite the events in the session hall. It is a question of technique, we have often passed it before. We would not want to show it again," he said.

Yefremov also noted that putting this issue to referendum is not against the law.

In addition, the MP stressed once again that if the Parliament does not work for 30 days, the President will have the right to announce early elections.

At the same time, he noted that if the Head of State will be entitled to apply the norm of the dissolution of Parliament, the Constitutional Court of Ukraine will be asked to clarify what is the beginning of the 30-day period.

At the same time, in an exclusive comment to ForUm correspondent, Yefremov said that, despite the outcome of the negotiations, all the members of the Party of Regions will come to the Parliament tomorrow. "Tomorrow morning all the deputies of our group will arrive in the Parliament," he said.
