The Batkivshchyna faction will initiate early parliamentary and presidential elections, leader of the faction Arseniy Yatseniuk told a press briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
He affirmed that the faction leaders have failed to reach consensus on providing personal voting of MPs.
"Therefore, the Batkivshchyna fraction is ready for early parliamentary and presidential elections.
We create a working group to prepare a new draft law on elections, according to which MPs shall be elected exclusively by open lists," Yatseniuk said.
