Today, on February 15, agrarian policy and food minister of Ukraine Mykola Prysiazhniuk has met with the national economy minister of Hungary Dr. György Matolcsy, the Agrarian Policy Ministry press service informs.

During the meeting, the ministers discussed bilateral cooperation in the framework of the Joint Ukrainian-Hungarian intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation.

Prysiazhniuk reminded that the priorities of cooperation between Ukraine and Hungary today is the joint work in the field of agriculture (livestock, crops, land use, etc.), infrastructure, energy, tourism, and cooperation at the regional level.

In 2012, the trade turnover of agricultural products between Ukraine and Hungary, compared with 2011, increased by 25% up to 246.3 million U.S. dollars. The amount of export of Ukrainian goods increased by 16% up to $ 61.4.
