A criminal case into the crash of an Antonov An-24 passenger aircraft in Donetsk, the press service of Ukraine's Donetsk region prosecutor's officer reported.
It was established that the plane overshot the runway at the airport, turned over and the aircraft's hull broke.
The scene is being examined now, other priority investigations are being carried out as well. The investigative team, composed of investigators of the police agencies, prosecutors and the SBU, works.
Investigation into the accident is under the personal control of the prosecutor of Donetsk region.
