It is very important to develop and use a labor potential for effective management, director of the Center for Advanced Social Research (CASR) of the Social Policy Ministry and National Academy of Sciences Leonid Ilchuk said during a round table "Development of the labor potential as a factor of economic growth in Ukraine", ForUm correspondent reports.
According to the expert, the possibility of achieving sustainable and competitive development of Ukraine depends on the quantitative and qualitative balance and level of utilization of this potential.
"Out of all elements of the socio-economic system of industries and enterprises only staff has an ability to respond actively and independently to the dynamic changes of economic environment. Proper management of personnel in certain important sectors can work wonders at the national level," the expert said.
According to Ilchuk, the potential of each employee is variable and constantly changing.
