The Verkhovna Rada has registered a bill that will allow legalizing the profit of Ukrainian IT companies, Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said during the meeting with representatives of IT companies, ForUm correspondent reports.
"Today the Verkhovna Rada has registered a bill "On amendments to section 20 of the "Transitional provisions" of the Tax Code of Ukraine regarding the taxation of entities of software products industry." This is a joint initiative of the government and Parliament. After the adoption of this bill, the IT companies will get an incentive to legalize all their volumes and abandon the gray schemes. This will allow investing, because investing in the gray business is impossible," he said.
In addition, the Prime Minister reminded that one year ago he met with representatives of the Ukrainian IT business. "I must say that the measures that were taken helped us to resolve a number of issues, and we received a good growth of this industry in 2012," he concluded.
