The European Union did not formally give Ukraine the document with 19 demands, which the country must meet to sign the Association Agreement with the EU, spokesman of the Foreign Ministry Yevhen Perebyinis told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.

"The media covers that there is a document containing 19 demands. However, such a document was not given Ukraine officially. Obviously, this is the decision of the EU Council of December 10, which includes these 19 demands. However, there is no numbering. Virtually, all of the issues were voiced by the EU Council in the decision of 10 December," the representative of the Foreign Ministry said.

Perebyinis stressed that the demands to our country are not new for Ukraine and are always discussed in the negotiations.

"Of course, these issues were on the agenda during the visit of the European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Stefan Füle. Obviously, these questions will be the subject of negotiations during the EU-Ukraine summit on February 25," he said.
